The Milan Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2008/2009 Menswear, is on till the 17th of January. The Paris Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2008/2009 Menswear, is scheduled to begin on the same date, to continue till the 20th.

Do watch out for the SPRING/SUMMER 2008 HAUTE COUTURE , which is slated to kick off on January 21 in Paris. GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVÉ, CHRISTIAN DIOR.. are amongst the eminent designers collections to hit the floor on the first day … CHANEL and GIVENCHY collections will dazzle on the second day. The event will continue till the 24th.

The engagement to boyfriend Cash Warren (son of actor Michael Warren), whom she met while making ‘Fantastic Four’ in 2004, and their first child who is due in early spring or summer of 2008, are two sweet joys this year has bought in for her.

Alba reads from the chapter concerning slaughterhouses,.. “cows and hogs are then ’strung up’ from the ceiling by a chain attached to their legs. In theory, while they dangle there, they are supposed to be unconscious. But often they are fully conscious, struggling, screaming, and fearfully staring at the workers while they have their throats stabbed open.”
