Daria Werbowy in H&M’s high summer 2008 ad campaignCanadian hot stuff, Daria, who has been fronting the ad campaigns for the clothing company since last year wooz the senses in H&M’s high summer 2008 ad campaign.
Vogue/UK, helps us get the first peek at the seductively intangible feel the label’s new girl and international supermodel, Daria Webowy, brings to its high summer 2008 ad campaign.
H&M’s 2008 collection, is embodied with the usual and vital garments of the summer season, starting from, maxi dresses, kimono-sleeved tops, bandeaus and swimwear to bohemian fringed scarves. The heavy wooden bangles and raffia wedges being put on, are just whats needed to pull the look together.
H&M’s new head of design Ann-Sofie Johansson, who took the reins from long-serving predecessor Margareta Van Den Bosch earlier this year, quoted:
“We wanted to create something very colourful and light, with stand-out print,” says. “We were inspired by hot holidays in Africa, India, Hawaii and South America; hence ethnic-style prints such as tropical flowers and leaves, ikat designs, dip-dyes and ombre effects.”
