London New York Bristol is an exhibition on show at Mount Street Galleries that showcases superb modern art from home and across the Atlantic.

With many renowned artists like Banksy, Damian Hirst, Andy Warhol, Chapman Brothers, Nick Walker,Louise Bourgeois, Paula Rego, Richard Prince, Frank Auerbach, Jean Michel Basquiat, Donald Baechler, Chuck Close and others, the exhibition explores the relationship between the art capitals, London and New York, and the idea that, increasingly, they are being challenged by newcomer Bristol.(reports vogue)

Karl Lagerfeld is widely recognized as one of the most influential fashion designers of the late 20th century and known for his collaborations with high fashion brands like Chloé, Fendi and Chanel.

Having built the most complicated resume, unlike that of any designer, with his own labels, including perfume and clothing, Karl isn’t willing to limit his versatility to the fashion world.

Photography, being an art that’s secluded from fashion, happens to be his second passion. And as expected, he takes it pretty seriously.

Langen Foundation, a museum located on the premises of a former nuclear missile silo near Düsseldorf in Germany, is where the man is showing off his photographic works.

In his photography, he writes, “the future and the timeless meet.”

Describing his work, Lagerfeld speaks of a “visual order without any apparent logic” as a well as graphical effects that are taken “hors contexte,” or “out of context.”

He says his photographs can be enjoyed by all. “Anyone can view these photos “without having to ask any questions.”

Examining his photographs, the curators are calling Lagerfeld’s work “classics.”
