Saying goodbye to the year gone behind, with a quick peep at the good and not so good fads it had to choose from…
Landed up on this site that gave me a lot to agree with… Considering the similitude of looking at the specified feature, it seemed eminent i put it here…
Fashion-wise, 2007 experienced some hits and some misses. Here are a handful of styles that made the list.
WOMEN
Best
Fun, flirty dresses: Lauren Conrad, fashion designer and star of MTV reality show “The Hills,” helped bring dresses back into the fashion forefront.
Not only did she wear them in nearly every episode, she even filled her clothing line – Lauren Conrad — with above-the-knee kimono-style and A-line shifts. They make the “Best” list for their ultra-feminine style.
Belted trench coats: Classic sophistication with modern appeal — who could say no to that? The coats were not only functional, the nip at the waist complemented curvier figures such as “the hourglass.” Celebs who repeatedly end up on the fashion A-list — Jessica Biel, Katie Holmes and Jessica Alba — looked fabulous wearing their belted trench coats this year.
Opera-length gloves: These formal gloves that reach above the elbow struck up visions of Rita Hayworth in “Gilda” (1946) and Marilyn Monroe in “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” (1953), and that was a good thing.
I could’nt really figure out why these even made it to the list…
