I’ve been watching the trends in fashion for quite some time and it still amazes me how form and function often gives way to form. What I mean to say is, often clothing is developed for use in a particular sport, and then becomes adopted to mainstream use. Take the case of riding boots. These started out in the realm of equine riding. They have a very specific purpose when it comes to horseback riding, and are made for the seated position. When a rider is upon a saddle, the boots slip down. So, they’re made long and often go above the knee. This is comfortable when riding, but not very practical for walking around during the day to day.

So what happened? For starters, mainstream brands – Tory Burch boots being one of the latest – picked them up as a fashion accessory. Will the popular brand, Ariat – known for authentic riding gear enter this space? Perhaps. But how do the designers adapt these boots? Simple. They shortened the length, adopted the style and called them riding boots. Only these weren’t for riding, they were for style. And… people loved them!
So, what’s next? I suppose it depends on the sport at hand. Jerseys are popular among men – it will be interesting to see how women pick them up as a new trend. In the world of horseback riding, polo shirts are popular. And in mainstream fashion, we see polos by Ralph Lauren, Joules and others. Anyway, something to think about.
I can’t honestly say that I have a favorite store, but there are many stores which I shop at very often. Forever 21 is one of these places, and there are so many stores within the New York area which is very close to me. The huge one in Times Square has four or five floors, and each floor is better than the next. I love how each floor has different style clothing, and there’s even one floor for almost all jewelry and accessories. In addition to loving what they sell, I love their prices even more. Where else can I get three necklaces for less than ten bucks? I strongly suggest you head over to Forever 21, and see what cute outfit you can put together for very little money.

There have been so many hours that have gone into all of my planning for my wedding this fall. I feel like it’s been such a long time coming and I absolutely can’t wait for the big day to get here! But first, I need to worry about making sure that all of my DIY wedding favors are perfect.
I’ve been using my wireless internet service Charlotte to find lots of ideas about what kinds of favors I should make for my wedding. After all this time, I just now decided it, which is really down to the wire because my wedding is in just a few weeks!
Out of all the DIY fall wedding favors that I considered, I decided that it would be really neat to fix up some candles to give out to people. So I’m working on creating these neat labels that have our wedding date on them that I’m fixing to the outside of the candle. But the best part about the candles is that they’re all fall scents like pumpkin, apple and cinnamon!
Everyone knows Snooki as the pint size,tan party girl on MTV’s show Jersey Shore. She displays herself as having no care in the world, and as someone who just parties all the time and doesn’t work. It turns out she has at least done some work (of course after her GTL time). Snooki has a new fashion line, featuring perfume, sunglasses, shoes,purses, and much more. Her products are very successful, and it can even be hard to find exactly what you are looking for because many are sold out. It’s obvious that the products are so popular because of who’s it is. If the same accessories were being sold and no one knew it was from Snooki, I’m sure they wouldn’t buy them. I have to admit though, a lot of the products are actually really cute. I might even consider buying them.

Being someone who has had acne since I was fifteen years old, I feel like I’ve tried everything to get clear skin.
